This recipe is perfect as a marinade and/or finishing sauce for all your grilled meats, and it is especially good with pork.
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 sesame oil
1/4 brown sugar
1/8 cup fresh ginger, crushed
1/8 cup fresh garlic, crushed
Cook the garlic and ginger until soft, add the rest of the ingredients and cook at low heat for 10 minutes
Use as is for a marinade, or thicken with cornstarch (try 1 tbsp in enough cold water to make it thick) for a sauce to be brushed on in the last few minutes of cooking time. (Because of high sugar content, this recipe will burn quickly on the grill) You can also serve it warm, on the side.
