"To barbecue" means to slow-cook foods at a low temperature for a long time with wood or charcoal.
"To grill" means to cook foods over direct heat and cook it much faster than barbecue with gas, wood or charcoal.
2 pounds ground turkey
Half an onion diced and cooked
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1-1/2 tbsp salt
1 tsp dried sage
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground thyme
3 tbsp of cream 35%
In a large bowl, gently mix the reserved onions and all the burger ingredients. Add the cream and mix together. Let rest for 20 minutes or so. Form into 6 burgers, each about 4 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. Brush the burgers with oil and grill over direct medium heat until fully cooked but still juicy, about 15 minutes, turning once.
