More Recipe for your New Baking Mat
Step by Step Gourmet Ice Cream Cone
1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
1 Whole Egg
2 Egg Whites
1/3 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Flour
A touch of Vanilla or Almond Extract
Using a food processor for approximately 30 to 90 seconds,
blend everything together until you reach a texture that is smooth but still shows almond pieces.

Spread the batter as thin and evenly as possible with an offset spatula.

On your baking mat using the template below, create your cones or use a full circle to make bowls.
You can cut out a stencil or do it free hand for an extra-homemade look.

Cook at 375F until you have a nice golden color.
I strongly suggest that you rotate your tray after 2 minutes, as your oven probably does not bake evenly.

When the cookies are done, you can shape them into cones, but be very careful, as it will be hot.

I use a dishtowel to hold the cookie for 30 seconds while it cools down.

After you have cooked and shaped the cookies into cones,
wait until they get cold and then dip the tip in melted chocolate to seal the end.
For extra pizzazz, you can also dip the top edge in chocolate,
and then crunched up almonds or colour sprinkles for kids.

Cool the cones on a rack.

Decorate with your favorite ice cream, and fresh fruit.

VOILA!
